What is a Drifter?
A generative, animated line creature. Each of the 999 is an ERC-721 token whose artwork is a live web page: it walks, follows you, sings, and has its own encyclopedia article.
Which blockchain?
Base, an Ethereum layer 2. Gas fees are low, usually well under a cent.
What does it cost?
99 USDC per Drifter, plus a small amount of ETH on Base for gas.
How do I mint?
Open the mint page, connect your wallet, choose a quantity (up to 20), approve the exact USDC amount, then confirm the mint. Your new Drifters appear right below with their token numbers. New to crypto? Follow the step-by-step guide.
Which wallet should I use?
MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet (browser extension or the app's built-in browser on mobile).
Do Drifters make sound?
Yes. Every Drifter has a voice based on its species, scale, gait and habitat. Browsers only play sound after a click or tap, and on this site sound is off until you turn it on.
How does rarity work?
Five tiers from Common to Legendary, based on trait rarity combined with a seeded roll. Token IDs are random on mint, so everyone has the same chance at a Legendary.
